How does it work?

For all engines makes or models!

The Fuel-Activator KA3 is a special engineered device, designed for treatment of all diesel fuels prior to atomization, what leads to better ignition values.
Result:
Better ignition - optimized combustion
Less consumption - Less emissions
NO miracles - just Laws of Physics
The new Fuel-Activator KA3 is positioned on each injector directly on the injector cap nut. Owing to its flexible construction, it can be clamped on without additional fastening devices. In accordance with the design principle, the magnetic fields that are effective across the injectors cover the area from the injection nozzle to the cylinder head, so that the fuel that is under injection pressure is already influenced, i.e., fully concentrated, during atomization (Lorentz force).
With diesel oil, the optimization of the combustion process is of decisive importance for the emission of soot and other particles that have to be held back by suitable filters. Nonfilterable harmful gases, such as the carcinogenic substance benzopyrene, have to be reduced by improving the combustion process in the cylinder.
The result is a noticeable improvement
in the running of the engine, less soot formation and lower fuel consumption.
This reduces stress on the soot filters
and also protects the environment.
The reduction in consumption is up to max17%, average at 10% to 13%.
Particulate Matter (PM) reduction in emissions will be up to 93%,
average at 60%
Marine Emissions Certifications
On January 1, 2000, emissions standards set forth by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) entered into effect in many areas of the world for marine diesel engines above 130 kW (174hp). This is the first time in history that diesel emissions from vessels have been subjected to a control standard, however it will not be the last.
Our Fuel-Activator KA3 will not only reduce particulate matter in emissions, it will also reduce consumption, which enhances profitability to all KA3 using vessel operators.

On propulsion and auxiliary engines, from small
to large, we reduce consumption and emissions
(PM) on all Diesel engines; on power generating
sets and pump units, ferries, yachts, tugboats, commercial freighters and container vessels,
on fishing boats, crew boats... ... ... etc.
From River to Ocean
Fuel-Activator KA3
Works on all marine fuels, as:
MDO (Marine Diesel Oil)
Thin Diesel, less refined than Gas Oil.
HSD (High Speed Diesel -India-)
IFO (Intermediate Fuel Oil)
MFO (Medium Fuel Oil)
A mixture of HFO and MDO
CBFS and HFO (Heavy Fuel Oil)
180 cSt/50°C | 380 cSt/50°C | 730 cSt/50°C
Thick, viscous dark brown gunk.
Requires heating to flow
and all other marine fuel specifications.
![]() ![]() Each injector needs one single unit KA3 see below:
![]() ![]() Attach one (1) Activator Unit on each injector's cap nut,
NO tool needed, done! Works on all fuel injection systems.

Installation on cap-nuts as follows:
![]() If the cap nut is of larger diameter than 19mm, the activator can be applied up to (24mm)a 60°angle.
Engines with cap nut sizes over 26mm diameter have a much higher fuel-flow volume per line. Therefore: to achieve the proposed result in reduced consumption and emissions it is necessary to apply two (2) KA3 units on each cap-nut .

One of our clients report:
See the very important improvement of the lube oil quality.
Over short time periods, savings are here to achieve, too.

Dear Diether
The outcome of Mr M.........'s test
Conducted on 29th August 2005, at Osaka Bay Area
Conditions:
Northwest wind of 2-3m per second and wave height of one meter, 32 Degree centigrade, fair
Vessel used:
Name: KIIKAZE, L 19.6m Gross tannage 15tons,
Displacement 15tons with MAND2842LE406 12 Cyl. Max 1200PS/2300RPM
Gear Box is NICOMGN272, Gear Ratio 1.74
Flow meter scale 1.0 liter with accuracy 0.5%
KA-3, 6 sets are installed right bank of the engine ( fuel shall not be fed to left bank) and engine speed set at 1300RPM(with 235PS) and to keep this engine speed, we fixed the governor by fixed remote control handle, and start/stop of the engine shall be conducted by on/off of Marine Gear
Test duration : 120minutes each( with KA3 and without KA3)
Test result
with KA3 fuel consumption was 118 liters
without KA3 fuel consumtion was 122 liters
this means a 3.39% better result was given
As the sea conditions at the time of with KA3, was worse than without KA3, we can say
the improvement is more than 3.4%
The fuel quality improvement, due to the installed Fuel Activator KA3, prevented lube oil becoming inferior and for the fishing boat which need low load/continuous operation this is very good
Regards
K. T.
Note from Advatech:
To take the bad weather-condition into correct consideration, the improvement with our Unit KA3 should be over 3.8%, at approx. 5%
The fact that lube oil stays much longer at it's good quality when our KA3 is installed, is an additional savings factor what we have not extra mentioned before, nor included in any savings calculation.
