NO Down-Time Engine Restauration

RAILWAY
Railway transport is one of the vital means of transportation in any country. The CerMet technology has been used for rail traffic cost reduction, saving in electric energy, and other limited and costly resources. Since the introduction of this technology, locomotives and other railway vehicles have seen cost reductions up to 20 times the original expense of repair and maintenance and up to 35% savings of fuel and energy resources.

Over the years this technology has been used extensively to recondition and revitalize locomotive engines, high-pressure fuel pumps, hydro-mechanical gearboxes, reducers, bearings and much more. For old parts or new, CERMET is the only technology in the world that will renew or improve parts performance beyond factory specifications

Below is a list of the many parts CERMET can treat and revitalize:
Diesel engines
Journal bearings
Anchor bearings
Mounting surfaces
Steering knuckles
Reduction unit
Articulated joints
Tooth gears
Side supports
Ball joints
Journal guides
Hinges and locks
Rod outlet regulators
Bolster suspension
Engine-axial bearings
Crank mechanisms
Driving gear bearings
Axle back-balance rollers
Brake levers' journals
Compressor bearings
 Pendulum suspension

CerMet Awarded Mandate From Eastern Europe Rail Association

CerMet is proud to announce that it was officially accepted as a integral part of lubrication anti-wear system for newly developed locomotives in Eastern Europe. For the next 15 years use of CerMet is mandated for all newly built locomotives. The high mileage testing of CerMet, which is undergoing now, willbe assessing the use of CerMet for the whole fleet of locomotives in all countries of Eastern Europe. Results indicated significant reduction of wear in engines and gearboxes as well as reduction of noise, vibration and dramatic improvement of power at the wheels and increased fuel economy. CerMet has worked closely with the organizations and testing facilities to prove this new and exciting technology's capabilities. CerMet continues to lead the world in metal-to-metal anti-friction and anti-wear science.

"After the treatment of the engine, compression increased by 1-6 kg/cm2; combustion pressure increased by 1-5 kg/cm2; engine power under the load increased by 4.8%, noise decreased by 8 dB on maximum rpm and fuel economy on idle increased by 14.5%"
